Hello,
Please email me ASAP to let me know how many members of your family will be attending the mock trial--I need to make the reservation! Thanks, Mrs. Gillett Class: Here is the updated Dr. Stein report. ONLY the date was changed to correspond to the stipulated timeline. Make sure you exchange your evidence (including parenting plans) no later than Monday morning at 8:30 am Thanks! Mrs. Gillett
Hello all, I am writing on behalf of Attorneys Jeffries and Thomas, expressing an intent to file the following evidence during the mock trial on Wednesday, April 23 (see attached). Please inform me ASAP of any questions or if you are unable to open any of the documents. Cordially, Miss Robison
Class and moms: As you know, we are very close to the date for mock trial--now is the time to polish testimony and ask any questions. This week for homework, lawyers should be practicing their direct and cross exam, as well as opening and closing statements. Also review the rules of evidence and the rules for impeachment. Witnesses should be practicing their direct exam every day to make it seem as natural as possible. Each side must turn in a completed parenting plan and be familiar with the expert's social investigation. Each side must also turn in an evidence binder on Friday with, at minimum, four copies of every piece of evidence and the parenting plan. It should also include the lawyer's notes for their direct and cross exams as well as any information you think might help you on April 23rd. Attached is the revised social investigation to add that Mr. B is a teacher, also note the name of the physician, Frank N. Stein, M.D. See you on Friday, Mrs. Gillett
Hello class,
Thank you for participating last week, especially in the self-evaluation--you're all going to do a great job. For homework this week, keep practicing for April 23rd. Remember that you need to turn in the following this Friday: -Draft of opening statement -Direct exam questions for each of your witnesses -At least 10 cross-exam questions for the opposing witness -Draft of closing statement Thank you, Mrs. Gillett Attached is the timeline for the case (which has been updated to bring it into the present time). Note that all of the months coincide with those in the original fact pattern; the only changes are to the years.
