Pamela Cox invited you to
I.M.A.G.E. Pool Party ("Take 2") Friday, October 11, 2013 04:00 PM - 06:30 PM Where: The Hamptons' Community Pool Dear friends, Let's try this party again, shall we? The Cox family seems to be healthier these last few weeks, thank the Lord. We can take the kids directly after class. Mrs. Uccello will drive the girls, and I'll drive the boys. They will need their bathing suits, a towel, and perhaps dry clothes to put on afterward. We will have snacks and drinks, and will order pizza to be delivered about 5:45pm. Parents can pick up directly from the pool at 6:30pm. If you are unsure how to get to the Hamptons, you can put my home address into your GPS: It is 4904 Bridgehampton Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238. As you drive into the neighborhood, you will see the pool on your left. It is a grey building with white trim. There's a parking lot on the left side of the pool. Mrs. Uccello and I can chaperone but, of course, all parents and siblings are welcome. Please let me know how many are attending as you reply, so I can plan for snacks and pizza. And, as always, donations for pizza will be cheerfully accepted! I look forward to seeing everybody on Friday! Sincerely, Pam Cox (Mrs. Cox) Pamela Cox I.M.A.G.E. CLASS
The Cox Family Phone941-544-4465 Hello all,
The urgency about this field trip opportunity (TeenPact Leadership School) is that the class is almost full, and there are discounts that we are trying to get. I called today after signing up Grace, and found that there are only a few spots left, but they are going to check into expanding the group today, but it is still very limited and might fill in the next day or two. I am asking that everyone give this consideration as soon as possible, and contact me by phone if you have any questions. If possible, sign up asap with the refundable $60 deposit, as you will see on the website. I'm sorry to sound bossy, and of course this is not required, but it could be fantastic if we all get to go This would be a four day trip to Tallahassee, April 7 - 10, 2014. The class is called TeenPact Leadership School, and it is a Christian-based citizenship/leadership/government class. All 3 of my kids have loved it. I can go into detail with you individually on the phone faster than I could type a description... my opinion, for it's worth, is that it is the highest quality camp-type class my sons ever experienced during all of their homeschooling years. Parents would not have to attend; however, parents are welcome to be at all parts of the classes at no charge. Parents can stay at the camp for an extra charge.I plan to drive, attend all classes, and stay at the camp as a chaperone, so your child could be with me :) . If you have younger siblings and you still want to attend, the minimum age for the 4-day class is 13 by April 7th, but there is a 1-day class for younger students, and Tallahassee has a ton of museums and outdoor activities to make it educational for them on the other days. The camp is optional. You can opt to stay in a hotel instead. I have done both styles, but for this year, I want Grace to experience the extra fellowship that the camp offers. But there is a tradeoff - the camp is 45 minutes from the capitol. I can talk more about that individually with you. Please visit the website to form your own opinion, and I am enthusiastically available any time, phone or email. https://teenpact.com/ Summary of cost to attend 4-day class: 4-Day Class: $240.00 3 days of box lunches 21.00 Total for class $261.00 Discount for Sept. reg. -15.00 Discount for early bird -15.00 Group discount -15.00 Total after discounts $216.00 Summary of cost to attend 4-day class AND stay at the camp 3 nights: 4-Day Class: $240.00 3 days of box lunches 21.00 Camp: 140.00 (for a parent to stay at camp is extra $120.00) Total incl. lodging $401.00 Discount for Sept. reg. -15.00 Discount for early bird -15.00 Group discount -15.00 Total after discounts $356.00 Additional expenses to be split between participants who ride together:Gas for travel to Tallahassee and 45-minute commute between camp and Tallahassee Parking at the Capitol four days Link to expenses page of website: http://teenpact.com/state-classes/florida/ Call me with any questions at all, Tricia Watts 726-9854 |
